The ACSL SOTEN Survey Bundle is a complete, mission-ready package designed for professionals running inspection focused missions who need a secure, versatile drone system out of the box. Built around the NDAA-compliant SOTEN aircraft, this bundle comes with the ACSL standard payload that uses a 20MP 1” sensor and mechanical shutter. A mechanical shutter is critical for drone survey work because it ensures a sharp, accurate image by eliminating motion blur and rolling-shutter distortion when capturing images in flight. The SOTEN Survey Bundle includes the NDAA compliant TAITEN Smart Controller, a rugged ground control station with a 7” screen. In addition, this bundle comes with the ACSL RTK Module for precise mapping missions. For transport and protection, the system is housed in a GPC hard case, making it easy to deploy across job sites and emergency response scenarios. Together, these components deliver a reliable, scalable aerial solution ready for real-world operations from day one.

Swappable Payload System with Four Options

At the core of SOTEN’s versatility is its one-touch swappable payload system, allowing operators to rapidly change sensors when out in the field. SOTEN supports four payload options, enabling a single platform to adapt to inspection, public safety, survey, and thermal applications—eliminating the need for multiple drones. Payloads options include: 

• Standard Camera – 20MP, 1” sensor, mechanical shutter, 28mm lens for accurate mapping and inspection (Included in Survey Bundle) 

• SAMO Thermal/Optical Payload – Dual thermal-optical payload built around the Teledyne FLIR Hadron™ 640R, combining a 640X512 Boson® radiometric thermal sensor with a high-resolution 64MP visible camera and up to 20× zoom—ideal for public safety operations, infrastructure inspections, and other mission-critical applications (Sold Separately)

• Multispectral Camera – 20MP, 1” sensor, mechanical shutter, captures spectral data across 550nm, 680nm, and 850nm wavelengths (Sold Separately)

• Optical Zoom Camera – 25x total zoom – 2.5x optical and 10x digital, 12MP with an 18–45mm focal range for detailed inspection from a safe distance (Sold Separately)

Obstacle Awareness & Operational Safety

SOTEN is equipped with multi-directional obstacle sensors, combining stereo cameras and infrared sensors positioned on the front, top, and bottom of the aircraft. These sensors enhance situational awareness, helping pilots safely navigate complex environments such as infrastructure, industrial facilities, and confined spaces.

It features a bright, 1500-nit 7-inch daylight-readable display, encrypted dual-band communications, and an IP54-rated design to withstand real-world field conditions. Running the ACSL TAKEOFF app, TAITEN provides responsive, low-latency control for flight, camera, and payload operations.
